Granite Mountain

"Texas Pink" granite from Granite Mountain just west of Marble Falls was used to construct the Texas State Capitol building and the Galveston Seawall, among other structures, and still operates as a quarry today. Be sure to check out the granite items for sale at gift shops around town.
